Celebrate Black History Month at the Louis Armstrong House Museum:

Explore how the improbable life of Louis Armstrong influenced world music and the Civil Rights Movement. The Museum contains an extensive collection of artifacts and furnishings that belonged to the Armstrongs. Learn what stories this house can tell.

 

Each visitor will receive a rare photograph of Armstrong at the Suburban Gardens in New Orleans in 1931, a groundbreaking moment in Civil Rights.  An exclusive excerpt from Louis’ own, never-before-published manuscript is printed on the reverse.
