Ticket Prices and Pricing for Caretakers

Visitors with Disabilities* $14 (House Tour + Exhibition)

Visitors with Disabilities $8 (Exhibition Only)

Visitors with Disabilities can purchase discounted tickets for historic house tours and admission to the Louis Armstrong Center. Personal Care Attendants (PCA), paid and unpaid, accompanying a visitor with a disability are free of charge during their visit. 

PCA should email tickets@louisarmstronghouse.org to reserve a complimentary ticket. Tickets for Visitors with Disabilities should be purchased in advance here

Getting to/from the Museum with Access-A-Ride Drop Off: 

All museum visits begin at the Louis Armstrong Center, which is located at 34-49 107th Street. Corona, NY  11368. The Drop-Off will be directly in front of the Center. 

Approximate Time Required to Visit the Museum:

The guided tour of the historic house lasts approximately 45 minutes. Visitors usually explore the Here to Stay exhibition for 30-60 minutes.

Restrooms and Changing Tables:

Restrooms are available at the Louis Armstrong Center. The Center has restrooms which are equipped with changing tables. Visitors may use any restroom that best aligns with their gender identity.

For Visitors with Wheelchair & Mobility Aids:

The Armstrong Center, which includes the welcome area, museum store, exhibit area, restroom, and performance space are wheelchair-accessible. There is an accessible pathway in the Garden of the historic house. The historic Louis Armstrong House tour requires the ability to climb two sets of steep stairs and stand for approximately 45 minutes. Visitors with access needs that are unable to take the tour can request to view a video that offers a visual depiction of the historic house. Museum docents are also available  to answer any questions visitors may have. 

For Visitors who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing:

Subject to availability, we can provide ASL Interpretation for the guided tour of Louis Armstrong House and Here to Stay exhibit with prior notice. At least three weeks prior to your visit, please contact tickets@louisarmstronghouse.org. Or call 718-478-8274 Thur-Sat from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. 

For Visitors who are Visually Impaired:

Our staff can assist with a verbal description tour. At least three weeks prior to your visit, please contact tickets@louisarmstronghouse.org. Or call 718-478-8274 Thur-Sat from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. 

Resting Areas:

There are benches located in the lobby of the Louis Armstrong Center. The Garden area also has benches for resting which can be utilized during the warmer months.

Service Animals:

Trained service animals assisting visitors with disabilities are welcomed. Pets are not allowed.

Water Fountain and Refill:

A water fountain is available in the Louis Armstrong Center

Food:

We do not have a café. Visitors that need to eat while on premise may do so in the lobby area of the Center. If weather permits, you may also enjoy your food in the Garden.
